Pretty Fall Days

The leaves are changing colors, Pumpkin Spice Lattes are readily available, and jack-o-lantern planning is in effect! Con season is slowing down, but thanks to Halloween, costume-wearing doesn't. RedStar is booked full through Youmacon. Customers are already making requests for our hometown con, Anime Central. So, get your quote in today!

In my last post, I mentioned some work I did for a Northwestern University commercial. It's fall and that means football! It also means the commercial is now airing. Check it out here!

In January, I will be a vendor at MAGFest. It will be my first time selling at a gaming convention. Expect some new gaming goods! Thanks for reading and enjoy the weather!

Summertime!

Last year, I participated in Asian American Art Oral History Project through DePaul University. Recently, the archive was posted. You can now read my interview for the project, as well as view a few cosplay photos.

In other news, Northwestern commissioned a few props for a commercial that will air on the Big 10 Network during their games. It will also air when the recorded games air on Network television. You can get a sneak preview and read more about it on this NU blog post.

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Like Renee mentioned in the previous post, we are now taking commissions for early fall. Enjoy your two more months of summer!

Anime Central starts today!

Anime Central is finally here, and I'll be heading to the convention center today. We're very excited to be selling our merchandise once again in the Artist's Alley. Getting Ready for Anime Central!

ACEN is just a mere three days away! Recently, we have been receiving many quote requests. It may take a bit longer than usual to answer them, as May is one of our busiest times of year for us. We are now booked through June and space is extremely limited in July. So, get your quotes in now before the summer fills up!

Spring Time for RedStar

Katsucon has come and gone, and Anime Central is only 5 weeks away! We have officially been listed on their website as a part of their Artist Alley. If you're going, make sure to stop by and say hello. I will also be doing a panel on Friday evening called, "When Video Games and Fashion Collide." Come see me talk on the growing trend of designers, brand names, and their connections to gaming.
